Carmel Nursery and Primary School is a catholic institution for under privilege students (boys and girls), located in Uppukara street, Valangaiman, Thiruvarur District, Pincode-612 804. Tamilnadu, India. The School was founded by the Carmelite sisters (CTC) in 1986. It was started with 5 students in the Preprimary level in the year. The first pioneer of the school was Rev.Sr. Mary Anysia the Correspondent and principal. It was under Amala province. The Regional Superior was Rev. Sr.Rose Catherine.

The Correspondent of the school was Rev. Sr. Sunitha Helen and the Principal was Rev.Sr.Arockia Mary, It came under Vimala region. The Regional Superior was Rev. Sr.Belinda. The environment of the School includes green, spacious ground, multiple sports fields. The school contains Library, Sports room, Big Auditorium, well equipped, Computer lab. Besides Sports, Extracurriculars include Kumfu, Karate, Silambam, Bharatham, Music, Abacus, Spoken English, Handwriting and Speech.
