CARMEL SCHOOL HISTORY
Carmel Nursery and Primary School is a catholic institution for under privilege students (boys and girls), located in Uppukara street, Valangaiman, Thiruvarur District, Pincode-612 804. Tamilnadu, India. The School was founded by the Carmelite sisters (CTC) in 1986. It was started with 5 students in the Preprimary level in the year. The first pioneer of the school was Rev.Sr. Mary Anysia the Correspondent and principal. It was under Amala province. The Regional Superior was Rev. Sr.Rose Catherine.
The Correspondent of the school was Rev. Sr. Sunitha Helen and the Principal was Rev.Sr.Arockia Mary, It came under Vimala region. The Regional Superior was Rev. Sr.Belinda. At present it's under vimala province. (Address:"Vimalagam, Koonampattarai village, Meleripakkam Post, Via Chengalpet, Kanchipuram Dt., Pincode - 603 003.") The environment of the School includes green, spacious ground, multiple sports fields. The school contains Library, Sports room, Big Auditorium, well equipped, Computer lab. Besides Sports, Extracurriculars include Kumfu, Karate, Silambam, Bharatham, Music, Abacus, Spoken English, Handwriting and Speech.
Our Vision is to bring up the young generation with deep rooted faith in God, equipped with Knowledge and committed towards the society as large as responsible citizen. Our Mission is to provide quality education to all, especially the marginalized and to bring forth over all developments of students by imparting value added education.
